His research focuses on the vulnerability and fragility of developing economies, the measurement of structural vulnerabilities, their implications for development finance, and policies to strengthen resilience. He has also contributed to the design and development of composite indicators that inform the allocation of concessional resources and financing for climate change adaptation.
He has provided advisory and consulting services to several international organizations, including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the United Nations, and the Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC), as well as to EY (Ernst & Young). Through his work at Ferdi, he has also undertaken policy and analytical work with a range of partners, including the Inter-American Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and Banque de France. He contributed to the work of the United Nations High-Level Panel on the development of the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index (MVI).
He holds a PhD in Development Economics from Cerdi, University of Auvergne, a Master’s degree in Statistics and Econometrics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
