Research and Intellectual Output

Critical Minerals and the Energy Transition (2025)

  • A joint study with the Banque de France analyses the price elasticity of supply of critical minerals using mine-level data (F Vertier P., Jacolin L., Mien É., Léon F., FERDI Working Paper P356).
  • In 2025, FERDI launched the Chair in Strategic Resource Governance: Macroeconomics and Geopolitics. Monetary Policies and Development (2025)

  • An article on the impact of monetary policies was published in an academic journal and notably featured on the VoxDev platform (Léon F., Dramé D., 2025).
  • Contribution to the Annual Report on Africa–France Monetary Cooperation, with a box on tax gaps.
  • Participation in a seminar organised by the Banque de France’s Directorate for International Economics and Cooperation on 18 November 2025, including a presentation of doctoral research on the impact of climate-related disasters on international aid.
