Measuring Financing Flows for Development and Global Public Goods

 FERDI develops research, data and analytical tools to improve the measurement of these financial flows and contribute to international discussions on the evolution of development finance metrics.

Current international financing metrics do not always distinguish clearly between resources intended to support countries' development and those allocated to global public goods, such as climate action or biodiversity. This lack of distinction can affect resource allocation decisions and make it more difficult to assess international development finance commitments accurately.
