Biographie

Alain de Janvry is Professor of Agricultural & Resource Economics at the UC Berkeley and a Senior Fellow FERDI.

He has conducted field research in Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, and in the Indian subcontinent, focusing, among other topics, on rural development and technological innovations in agriculture.

Alain de Janvry is a member of the FERDI's Chair working group on the international architecture of financing for development.
