Professor of Economics, Vice-President of the University of Clermont Auvergne. School of Economics.
His research interests cover development economics, public economics, and game theory. His work has been published in prestigious academic journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of Development Economics.
He is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris), and obtained his PhD from the University of Toulouse in 2002. After starting his career as a research fellow at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (France), he joined CERDI in 2008 as a professor, and as director from 2013 to 2016. He then served as Vice President of Research at the University of Auvergne.
He is currently Vice President Collegiums of the University of Clermont Auvergne. In 2019, he was invited to spend 6 months in the Middle East and North Africa Department of the World Bank.
