Jean-Michel Severino, élevé au grade de commandeur de la Légion d’honneur

Jean-Michel Severino, Vice Président de la Ferdi, et co-animateur de sa chaire sur l'investissement d'impact, a été élevé au grade de Commandeur de la Légion d'honneur par Madame Monique Barbut, Ministre de la Transition écologique, de la Biodiversité et des Négociations internationales sur le climat et la nature. La cérémonie qui a eu lieu le 3 février 2026 a été l'occasion de mettre en valeur la Ferdi. Le décret annonçant sa nomination le présentait en effet comme Vice président de notre fondation, hautement honorée de ce fait.

Jean-Michel Severino élevé au grade de commandeur de la Légion d’honneur

Having served as Chairman of Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) from 2011 to 2021, Jean-Michel Severino has been Chairman of the I&P Supervisory Board since October 2021. He is also Vice-President of FERDI and co-head of its chair dedicated to impact investing.

Since joining I&P, Jean-Michel Severino has been actively involved in the development of the emerging impact investing sector, with the aim of supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa.

This commitment is part of a career largely devoted to international development and development finance. He previously served as Director of Development at the French Ministry of Cooperation, Vice-President for East Asia at the World Bank (1996–2000), and Director General of the French Development Agency (AFD) from 2001 to 2010.
