Her research interests focus on agricultural technologies, microcredit, conditional cash transfers and property rights. Elisabeth Sadoulet has conducted field research in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, India, and China. Sadoulet has also consulted for several international agencies and foreign governments, including the FAO, the Government of Mexico, and the World Bank.
She is a Senior Fellow FERDI and a member of the FERDI's Chair working group on the international architecture of financing for development.
