As part of its partnership agreement with the WAEMU Commission, FERDI has received a delegation of executives from the Commission in Clermont-Ferrand from 2 to 13 December 2019.

Exchanges on Ferdi's research programs and presentation of the paper "Digital vulnerability and performance of firms in developing and transition countries" by Joël Cariolle.

On 20 and 21 November 2019, the G5 Sahel Permanent Secretariat and the Sahel Chair organized a workshop to clarify the methodology for a study on security spending and its crowding-out effects on the financing of development spending in G5 Sahel member countries.

On November 14, 2019, the book Out of the Trap. Supporting the least developed countries was launched at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in collaboration with the Office of the United Nations High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) and LDC IV Monitor.

The CLUB-ER and FERDI within the framework of IDGM organized a workshop to share with researchers and practitioners advances in identifying and measuring the impacts of decentralized electrification projects.

The Centre pour les études et recherches sur le dévloppement international (CERDI) organized a workshop with the participation of Mrs. Bénédicte Peyrol, MP, and Mr. Mario Mansour (Middle East Regional Technical Assistance Center of the International Monetary Fund).
