West-African Digital Transformations Forum

The Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development (FERDI), the Global Development Network (GDN), the CERDI (University Clermont Auvergne, CNRS, IRD), the African Center for Equitable Development (ACED), and the African School of Economics are convening the first edition of a forum dedicated to strengthening research and knowledge production and translation on digital transformations in West Africa.

This forum will bring together researchers, public institutions, international organizations, and digital-sector stakeholders to discuss recent research on digital transformations in West Africa and their implications for public policy.

The forum’s three highlights:

  • Day 1 - Research Lab focused on the development of new projects and programs;
  • Day 2 - Academic Workshop dedicated to the work of emerging African economists;
  • Day 3 - Roundtables and panel discussions aimed at strengthening the dialogue between research and digital public policy.
