As a part of the festivities organized by the city of Clermont-Ferrand to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Blaise Pascal's birth, the FERDI and the CIBP hosted this conference to emphasize the economic dimensions of his work, their influence on the evolution of ideas, and their contemporary significance.
This conference was opened to the public. It were divided into four thematic sessions, each delving into a pivotal economic lesson from Pascal:
