The project to create a regional university of excellence, spearheaded by Professor Daniel ONA ONDO, has garnered the support of all six member countries.
It was decided that this regional university of excellence would be based in Equatorial Guinea, on the Djibloho campus, and would be supported by a network of satellite institutes and training centres of excellence located across various CEMAC member countries. One of the main objectives of the university and its satellite centres is to meet the training and employment needs of Central African youth. Looking ahead to the next 20 years, what skills will CEMAC countries need to sustain growth and remain competitive?
↪ As part of its partnership agreement With the CEMAC Commission, FERDI is analysing the various economic models applicable to community centres of excellence, and in particular to the Afro-American University of Central Africa (AAUCA). This work, which began in 2023, continued in 2024 and will culminate in 2025 with the publication of a technical report analysing various economic models applicable to these centres, particularly the Afro-American University of Central Africa (AAUCA).
