    Biographie

    Karim El Aynaoui, Executive Chairman of the Policy Centre for the New South, Executive Vice President of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University

    He is Executive President of the Policy Centre for the New South, Dean of the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences, and Executive Vice-President of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. From 2005 to 2012, he served at the Central Bank of Morocco as Director of Economic Studies, Statistics, and International Relations. Earlier in his career, he worked as an economist at the World Bank.

    He holds academic and advisory positions at several institutions, including the Malabo-Montpellier Panel, the Moroccan Capital Markets Authority, and the French Institute of International Relations. He also serves as an adviser to the CEO of the OCP Group, is a member of the Board of Directors of the OCP Foundation, and is a Global Member of the Trilateral Commission. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bordeaux.
