Biographie

Pierre-Richard Agénor is the Hallsworth Professor of International Macroeconomics and Development Economics at the University of Manchester.

He has published a large number of articles in leading professional journals on a wide range of issues, related notably to international macroeconomics, development economics, growth theory, labour economics, poverty analysis and gender equality.

He is the author of several books, including The Economics of Adjustment and Growth (Harvard University Press), Development Macroeconomics (with P. J. Montiel, Princeton University Press), Public Capital, Growth and Welfare (Princeton University Press) and more recently Monetary Policy and Macroprudential Regulation with Financial Frictions (MIT Press).

Pierre-Richard Agénor is also Senior Fellow at FERDI.
