Following Jacky Mathonnat's mission in February, the purpose of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Health to lead economic analysis for decision-making. The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs funds the project.
A training course on economic evaluation methods in the health sector was provided. In partnership with the Ministry of Health, the mission also aimed to identify the necessary data to carry out an applied research project on the efficiency analysis of a panel of health interventions in Botswana's health care centers.
