The International Network for Economic Research (INFER) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) jointly organized the 21st INFER Annual Conference on June 5-7, 2019 in Brussels (Belgium).
Joël Cariolle went to the conference to present the paper "Telecommunications Submarine Cable deployment and the Digital Divide in Sub-Saharan Africa. This paper estimates the impact of fiber-optic submarine cables (SMCs) deployment on the digital divide in 46 sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries. Cariolle J.
