Clermont Innovation Week: Debate and Roundtable Discussion on digital public infrastructure in the EU and the Global South.

At the invitation of the Global Development Network (GDN), Joël Cariolle, Research Officer at Ferdi, will participate in a high-level debate on digital public infrastructure in the EU and the Global South. This debate will be followed by a roundtable bringing together representatives from Southern countries, the French Treasury, as well as local and international experts.

 ↪ Joël Cariolle will participate in the session "Connecting Digital Futures: Digital Public Infrastructure in the EU and the Global South," which will address public investments in digital infrastructure, comparing the American and Chinese models and their impact on social well-being. The session will also discuss European regulations and the "Digital Public Infrastructure" (DPI) model, which originated in India and combines technology, regulation, and market forces to promote inclusion, dignity, and sustainable economic development.
