Round Table - Mobilising (all) domestic resources to finance development and transitions: Building robust institutions for sustainable Africa-Europe financing pathways

Speaking during the panel “Mobilising Domestic Resources: An Untapped Potential,” Florian Léon highlighted the potential of private resources for development, as well as the capacity of deposit funds to mobilize these resources.

He also recalled the main points from the first part of the report, notably:

• the financial challenges related to development financing;
• the difficulty of mobilising external flows, both public and private;
• the need to improve the mobilisation of domestic resources, both public and private.
