Formerly he was a director and a senior advisor at the World Bank. His experience covers more than sixty different countries. He is Professor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (“Sciences Po”) in Paris, and a regular consultant for the World Bank and other international organizations. He has published or edited several books. The last one is Africanistan (Fayard, 2018)
