He has been living in Côte d'Ivoire since 2012, where he is now working on the development of a professional training system with the private sector within Invest for Jobs, a GIZ programme.
This work allows him to combine his professional duties with his passion for investment promotion, business development and start-up acceleration.
René started his career in the finance sector in Paris and London, where he was in charge of advising companies on strategy and reorganisation as well as managing international M&A projects.
René is fluent in German, English, French, Spanish and Czech. In his private life he enjoys sports, cooking for family and friends and painting when time permits.
