GVCs, digitalisation and services in Africa: What we know and what we would like to know

Jean-Marc Solleder is a researcher in international economics, specializing in the analysis of interactions between trade policy and climate issues. His work focuses in particular on the effects of trade policies on greenhouse gas emissions and on international coordination mechanisms aimed at reconciling trade openness with the low-carbon transition.
He holds a PhD in international economics from the University of Geneva. Before beginning his research career, he worked for more than ten years as an information security engineer.
His research has been published in several international peer-reviewed journals, including Science, European Economic Review, and World Development.
