On 17 March 2022, the President of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, launched the work of the High-Level Panel on the development of a Multidimensional Vulnerability Index (MVI) to be submitted by the end of the year.

Webinar in 2 sessions over 2 days (February 2 and 3, 2022). Patrick Guillaumont, President of Ferdi, will moderate the 1st session.

50 years after the creation of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Category, and in the lead up to the 5th UN Conference on the LDCs, we are holding a meeting to analyse the impact this decision has had and if it is still valid today.

As part of the series of high-level conferences organized by the BCEAO Training and Research Centre (COFEB), Patrick and Sylviane Guillaumont (FERDI) were invited to discuss the theme "Making good use of the category of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and ways to graduation," based on the recent book directed by Patrick Guillaumont "Out of the trap: supporting the Least Developed Countries," published a few months ago.
