Suite à l’étude de la Ferdi sur les effets du Covid-19 sur l’efficience des hôpitaux de district au Niger (publication à venir), le Ministre de la Santé publique, de la Population et des Affaires sociales, Dr Illiassou Idi Maïnassara, souhaite la mise en place d’un « Observatoire de l’efficience des établissements de santé » sous l’égide de la Ferdi et de la chaire Sahel.

On February 2nd, 2023, at a workshop organised by the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF Mining), Yannick Bouterige, a Research Assistant at FERDI, shared the findings of a study that compared mining fiscal regimes and rent distribution for copper ore in Africa and Latin America.

FERDI contributed to the special event (AfDB Lunch Dialogue) "Five Steps Towards Closing the Climate Finance Gap for Africa".
