On this occasion, Florian Léon presented a study aimed at synthesizing knowledge on the effects of programs dedicated to companies in the growth phase (commonly named accelerator programs). The paper, entitled "start-up accelerators: A Solution for Enterprise Development in Africa," is drawn from a report written for the OIF on growth entrepreneurship.
Florian Léon's presentation highlighted that while these programs are effective in helping the most promising companies grow, the architecture of these programs is essential for them to be fully effective.
The objective of the conference was to improve the targeting of public policies to build a strong, inclusive and job-creating economy.
