The 14th International eLearning Africa Conference took place from 23 to 25 October 2019 in Abidjan.
Each year, the conference hosts an average of 270 speakers from about 100 countries providing insights on every aspect of technology supported learning, training and skills development. This event includes knowledge exchange sessions, round-tables, panel talks, plenary sessions, workshops, and an exhibition area.
Céline de Quatrebarbes, a research fellow, and head of the e- learning program at FERDI, spoke at the HEI21 parallel session "Exploring North-South digital collaboration experiences". This session explored how the combinaison of online and face-to-face training in North-South collaborative projects has proved to be a successful method to meet the training needs of students and lifelong learners.
Celine de Quatrebarbes' presentation focused particularly on "Hybridization for a new form of North-South partnerships".
