Rachid Pafadnam is a PhD student in development economics at the Center for Studies and Research on International Development (CERDI) and a lecturer at the School of Economics of the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA).
He joined the CERDI's master's program in 2020 and obtained a double master's degree in Economic Development and Project Analysis in 2022. He worked with the Foundation for International Development Studies and Research (FERDI) on the project dedicated to mining taxation. In particular, he contributed to the study of data published by member countries of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). He is now working on his PhD and his research questions are related to development financing and governance in resource-rich developing countries. In addition to his research activities, he also holds teaching positions at UCA. He is a teaching assistant for the research master's program and a lecturer.
