Prior to heading up CDC-CI CAPITAL, Augustin Kouassi Apetey spent ten years as Vice-President in charge of Strategy and Investments in West Africa for OLAM International, one of the world's leading agribusiness groups.
Prior to this, Augustin was an Investment Officer in the Africa Department of the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group). He was also a Senior Financial Analyst with United Technologies Corporation, USA, and began his professional career in Côte d'Ivoire as a Senior Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business of the University of Virginia, USA, and a postgraduate diploma in Finance from the University of Bordeaux, France.
