Supporting Education in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities for the Impact lnvestor

In January 2019, Investisseurs & Partenaires and the Government of Monaco signed a partnership agreement to create the first impact fund dedicated to education in Africa.

A key component of the partnership consisted in carrying out a feasibility study "Supporting Education in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities for the Impact lnvestor", conducted by the Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development (FERDI).

The main observations and conclusions of the study were presented publicly on 10 July at the Sorbonne in the presence of Gilles Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Government of Monaco and, Nicholas Burnett, Chair of the IIEP-UNESCO Governing Board.
