The revealed policy indicators relate to:
• Resistance to deforestation or avoided deforestation (jointly with IDDRI)
• Tax efforts
• Open trade policy
• Urban bias (of the policies)
• Human development policies
The programme is not limited to this range of indicators. It is also planned to be a critical review of governance indicators and the production of competitiveness indicators, in particular indicators of real effective exchange rates.
Various other indicators are being studied using different methods (e.g. customs fraud or access to cellular communication).
