On 20 June 2019 Axel Gastambide and Matthieu Boussichas (Ferdi) presented to the European Commission the study "Evidence of success in using innovative financing mechanisms to increase funds for social sectors". Many members of the Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development and heads of unit attended this presentation.
This study was lead by Axel Gastambide, Matthieu Boussichas (FERDI) and Francesca Marchetta (CERDI) in collaboration with the network of European experts on international cooperation and development, IRD and the Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO).
