The G7 Global Forum on Globalization, Inclusion and Sustainability was held in Rome from 8 to 9 May 2017.
The forum focused on :
- Globalization, Protection and Protectionism
- Growth, Trade, Inequality and Poverty
- The search for sustainable and inclusive development
Jaime de Melo, Scientific Director at Ferdi, joined the panel on development policies and international cooperation. His presentation focused on the migration factors of African populations towards Europe. In particular, he highlighted the impact of insecurity and climate change on sustainable development.
