Organized by the student association Paris Dauphine Afrique, this conference aimed to explore the challenges, future strategies, and growth potential of the African agricultural sector in response to the central issue of achieving food sovereignty and self-sufficiency by consuming domestically produced food.

African economies appear to have recognized the imperative to enhance their agricultural sector, considering its economic, geopolitical, social, and environmental significance. However, how is this awareness reflected, and how are the concerned public authorities establishing and expediting favorable conditions for the industry to thrive? Furthermore, what contribution are the private-sector players making in this regard?
