Driss Belamine is a development economist passionate about African development and cultures.
He has specialized himself in project management, monitoring and evaluation, mainly within the areas of local development and local governance but had also the chance to deal with energy and private sector projects. After obtaining a Dual Master’s degree in Development Economics and Project Management from CERDI, he worked in the field from 2008 to 2012 in West and Central African, for different institutions. He is currently Senior Development Economist at the Human Development Department of the African Development Bank (AfDB), in charge of operations in the domains of poverty reduction, social protection and social business.
