The 4th workshop of the training component of the DATAFID project took place from April 3 to 6, 2023 in Niamey. It was dedicated to the collaborative construction of training in geospatial data analysis under the chairmanship of the Director General of Customs, Harouna Abdallah. The World Customs Organisation represented by its Secretary General signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the IDGM Laboratory of Excellence "Global Governance and Development Initiative". through FERDI, represented by Grégoire Rota Graziosi in order to strengthen their cooperation and research capacities in different fields.

From 11 to 13 October in Clermont Ferrand, FERDI-IHEDD met with the representatives of the tax and customs administrations of Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Togo and Mauritania. The objective was to design with the beneficiary countries the framework for training courses on data science in tax and customs administrations.
