The 2030 Agenda and the Least Developed Countries

FERDI's work focuses on the improvement of the identification of Least Developed Countries (LDCs), and the efficiency of the “special treatment” given them as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FERDI's objective is to take into account the specific characteristics of vulnerable countries in the overall 2030 Agenda. 

FERDI’s program, dedicated to this new development agenda,focuses on cross-country SDG issues, such as the production of indicators, comparative statistical analyses between countries and groups of countries, and the monitoring of the of the SDGs, particularly for the Least Developed Countries. 

FERDI's work examines the characteristics of the LDC category: Identifying and measuring the effectiveness of their "special treatment".
