On February 2nd, 2023, at a workshop organised by the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF Mining), Yannick Bouterige, a Research Assistant at FERDI, shared the findings of a study that compared mining fiscal regimes and rent distribution for copper ore in Africa and Latin America.

Event organized by the Groupement d'intérêt scientifique pour l'Étude de la Mondialisation et du Développement (GEMDEV) with the Association Tiers Monde (ATM).

Du 26 au 28 avril 2022, une session de formation sur la modélisation fiscale des projets du secteur extractif a été organisée pour les membres du Comité National (CN) de l'Initiative pour la Transparence dans les Industries Extractives (ITIE) du Sénégal, en partenariat avec le Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI). Yannick Bouterige (Ferdi) y a présenté une analyse du droit fiscal et du partage de rente du Sénégal.

On 5 November, 2020 UNU-WIDER and the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining and Metals organised a workshop on extractives and domestic revenue mobilisation. Yannick Bouterige (FERDI) presented the results of a joint Cerdi-NRGI-IISD-Ferdi study of the tax gap on 20 gold mines in Africa.
